Miss Katie and Miss Katy danced together at the same school in Wellingborough but she left a year before me to attend the Royal Ballet School on a 3 year teacher training course. She achieved her teaching diploma and many other Ballet, Character, National and Spanish teaching associates while at the Royal and was offered an exciting job in a dance school in Canada in ‘97. She spent the next 6 years building up the ballet program at the school and increased the number of exam candidates many times over. She moved back to the U.K. in 2004, taught in a great dance school over in Milton Keynes and then opened the Dance Factory with me in 2006. She has since left the dance world and become a Community support officer! Miss Katie occasionally pops in to choreograph Festival dances for us but unfortunately is very busy with her new family at the moment. We hope to see her back more in the future.
